Newby question: is the remake playable yet?

Hi - I just encountered this project website.

FWIW - I played he original Imperialism for years and miss it.

The "remake" windows installer I downloaded appeared to install successfully.

Although, I could see a settings and scenario builder, etc - I could find no button,etc that I could click to start the game.

I noticed that th word "demo" was displayed in the lower right hand side of the screen. Was the problem that I was attempting to play a "demo"?

If so, where could I download the actual "remake" so that I could give it a try?

No sorry, not yet. It's very early stage. I recommend to have a look again in approx. six months, otherwise the status will probably not have changed substantially.
