Favorite Power in the original Scenario?

Post by Trilarion »

As you probably know the remake aims at having a scenario mostly equivalent to the original Imp1 European scenario.

And this scenario had seven differently developed and located nations / great powers. I just wonder which nation you most look forward to play in a remake and why (assumed the remake would roughly play as the original game)? So which of the seven Nations is just the most interesting to play?

It also has some design background. Maybe we can make them more interesting alltogether, once we understand better, what are the key features for making a Nation interesting.

I choose Prussia, because its in the middle of the map, so a lot of things are going on and with the task of unifying germany one gets early action. Also I am german, so I feel obliged to start with Prussia in a way.

Developing the land was the thing I liked best about Imperialism, so ...: Russia! So much potential, undeveloped lands...

I choose Prussia, as I always wonder what Europe would be like if the Germans (Prussians?) would have played differently....
